Haverstraw Collaborative
The Haverstraw Collaborative consists of public, private and non-partners who are invested in the healthy development of the Haverstaw community. Its families and children meet the 1st Wednesday of every month to share information and resources, plan together and address needs and concerns within the community. Nyack Youth Collaborative
The Nyack Youth Collaborative has existed for over five years and meets the 4th Tuesday of every month to update one another on available programs, serving as a planning hub on local youth development issues. The Collaborative periodically plans activities for youth during out of school time and brings those programs to fruition. For more information, call 845-358-2600.
Spring Valley Collaborative
The Spring Valley Collaborative consists of diverse public, private and non-profit organizations represented in Spring Valley who meet the 2nd Friday of every month to better understand community needs, and develop strategies to gain better services and outcomes by working together. Immigration Coalition
The Immigration Coalition consists of public, private and non-profit organizations as well as individuals who meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month to address concerns raised by Rockland's growing immigrant community, including those who are undocumented. There are regular updates on Labor, Health and Legal issues. The Coalition established the Jornalernos Project, which provides educational services as well as a safe location for day laborers to find work. The Coalition is actively engaged in advocating on behalf of newcomers to this country. Rockland Alliance for Prevention Roundtable
The Rockland Alliance for Prevention Roundtable consists of individuals concerned with the impact of crime, substance abuse, and violence on youth who come together monthly to share best practices, resources and develop collaborative programming focusing on youth development and resiliency. The Better Baby Care Campaign of Rockland
The Better Baby Care Campaign consists of public, private and non-profit organizations as well as individuals committed to improving the quality of life for babies and toddlers in Rockland County by providing comprehensive support, education and services for families, caregivers and the community. The committee provides information about community resources and promotes literacy to families with children ages zero to three. Rockland CARES
Rockland CARES Integrated County Planning is an initiative of county government agencies to promote more responsive, effective and efficient services to Rockland's children, youth and families. Rockland CARES agencies are committed to making sure that all Rockland residents have access to the resources needed to develop healthy children, youth and families. Department of Health Steps to a Healthier Rockland Collaborative
Deparment of Health Steps to a Healthier Rockland Collaborative currently meets once a quarter as a group. The task force has 6 action groups: Nutrition/Obesity, Physical Activity, Diabetes, Asthma, Healthy Schools Healthy Lifestyles, School Health Index and the 3rs in Motion.
