Rockland 21C is a pioneering countywide partnership with children as our priority. Our mission is to ensure the best possible future for every child by building a comprehensive support system that links family, school and community. The bulk of our resources are utilized in supporting and sustaining the growing network of community schools developed by Yale University's Bush Center for Social Policy.

Rockland County has the distinction of being the only suburban county in the United States to initiate a countywide model for school-based or school-linked services, including: early education and care, school age care, family support, mental health, health, and social services. We proudly serve as an example of a successful 21C program, with 31 Family Resource Centers throughout the County, in various stages of development.

Rockland 21C is dedicated to bringing resources, best practices, professional development opportunities and innovative solutions to our partners who are committed to making school community collaborations the best they can be. We are dedicated to advocating for these partnerships…. side-by-side with all Rockland school communities, parents, public officials, and leaders from all sectors….for the benefit of our children.
